The realistic sausages are a little too realistic for some people.
Some people think they are a cute yummy thing to eat and others are disgusted at the very thought. The new ultra realistic Dachshund Dogs have divided the country with the controversy only helping with promotion for the product.
Newsishy went to an outdoor food court in Brighton to find out what people were saying about the new snack:
Doris Thuttston said “I feel sick, they look like real little dogs which have been boiled alive and stuffed in a bun, you wouldn’t catch me eating one of those things.”

Staci Lair (pictured enjoying a Dachshund Dog) said:
“ I think they are wonderful, I have a Dachshund myself and I’m always telling him he’s so scrumptious I wanna eat him up, now I can! They taste lovely, a lot better than an actual dog would taste, although I’m only guessing.”
Newsishy spoke to Tristia Shise who is the creator of the new hot dog to ask her about the product:
“Moulding tech has improved a lot over recent years so I thought I want to create a real hot dog. I think the results are great and it opens up a whole world of opportunity. I’ll be releasing many different breeds of dog in the future as well as other hot dogs shaped as human fingers, dog poo, rats and miniature new born babies.”
