Women and girls all over the world are using real spiders to enhance their lashes in a trend which has baffled most normal people.
We’ve all seen them, they are the ones who have multiple layers of eyelashes and somehow fail to see how ridiculous it looks whilst also believing everybody will think they are natural. It’s become an epidemic of tragic delusion.

Well a new contender has entered the ring, the spider girls. What started a joke on TikTok with someone parodying what false lashes look like by sticking huge hairy spiders on their eyes was taken as beauty advice by some who viewed it.
The trend took hold when multiple women posted their new spiderlashes online and with savvy entrepreneurs selling dead spiders to the gullible.
Arachnida specialists have warned that the UK spider population is already suffering due to environmental issues and to not try to catch them for this purpose while also advising people outside of the UK that some spiders can kill and their venom can remain active after death.
The trend shows zero signs of slowing down.
