The new tariffs will be charged by the level of nonsense contained in each post.
The European Union has introduced a tariff on the posts of the American President in a move which is likely to annoy him and raise money for the EU when he complains repeatedly about it.
The EU charges are to be made directly to the USA for any tweet or truth posted from the presidents personal accounts and lists the tariff charges on their website as follows:
Blanket charge for all CAPS = €250,000
Containing 1 lie = €500,000
Containing 2 lies = €1,000,000
Containing 3 lies = €1,500,000
Containing 4 lies = €2,000,000
Containing the usual amount of lies = €5,000,000
Obviously racist = €5,000,000
Obviously unconstitutional = €10,000,000
Praise for Israel = €20,000,000
Threatening global annihilation= €50,000,000
Head of European tariffs Lisa Ratic said in a statement:
“It’s exhausting, the guy sucks the joy out of people daily just by using his tiny fingers to post utter nonsense and we think if we have to be subjected to it we should at least get paid.
We have estimated this will generate at least a billion euros in just a few weeks. The only problem will be getting the money off him as unlike normal tariffs which are paid by the citizens of the issuing country these will be paid directly by the US Government when we bill them.”
