The small delivery robots will have the law on their side if/when they kill someone.
You only have to spend a small amount of time on social media until a video appears showing someone attacking a food delivery robot while it’s out doing its job.
Companies using the new robots are suffering losses and customers are not getting their food on time. The robots are not cheap and the companies are at risk of spending more money than if they had hired a human which is unacceptable.
IMMUNITY FROM PROSECUTION
New American rules mean that with a substantial crypto donation companies can get a law passed on whatever they need as is the case here where a law was passed yesterday allowing the delivery robots to be armed and the company which owns them to have immunity from prosecution.
A spokesperson for the companies said:
“It has gotten out of control, we are losing money every day and it’s going to stop. All delivery bots will now be armed with a shotgun.
The people attacking and vandalizing our robots have done us a huge favour as we have been able to train the robots on aggressive behaviour. The moment such behaviour is identified the shotgun is drawn and an audible warning issued. If an attack is then attempted lethal force will be used.”
This seems a little extreme:
“What is extreme is the fact people think it’s fine to mess around with our profits, it’s not and they will learn the hard way.
We estimate after less than 100 legal executions the attacks on our bots will drastically reduce and if they don’t, well, we have plenty of bots and a shitload of shells.”
