Man Builds Lego House To Live In With His Dog.

Jake Joust always loved his lego and like many people he never grew out of it so he decided to build a Lego kennel for his dog Louis. The project would be great for social media so he put out a request with a picture of Louis for any Lego bricks people could spare as well as visiting charity shops and car boot sales.

Louis, being an utterly good boy and very handsome proved invaluable as the Lego poured in from all over the world. Jake had estimated he needed around 12,000 Lego bricks to complete the kennel. To his amazement he received close to 300,000 bricks far surpassing his needs.

IT WENT CRAZY

We spoke to Jake outside of his Lego house on the piece of farmland he purchased to build on:
“It’s beautiful isn’t it? 18 months ago I would never have dreamed I’d be living here. It’s all down to Louis really, who can refuse that face! I honestly thought I’d get a few hundred bricks but it went crazy and there was no way I was not going to use all the bricks that kind people had sent me.

I was living in a flat, no garden and a bit fed up to be honest and a comment on Facebook said “crikey mate, you can build a whole house with that lot lol!” And I thought why the hell not?
My farmer friend offered me a small bit of land for cheap which had water access and I bit his hand off.

FULLY BOOKED

This place is waterproof, heated, it’s got a kitchenette, a loo and foundations and with Louis having his own little place next door it’s all we need.”

I’ll be doing tours and training courses on how to build your own Lego house for less than £10,000 and I’m fully booked until next year.”

What about security?
“I’ve got Louis and a farmer with a gun but if you’re going to do this you need a dog, a big one, they can break into this place with a spoon.”
