The government has announced that they will rush through legislation to make it illegal to drive at night without sunglasses.
It follows thousands of accidents being reported every week because of drivers being temporarily blinded by unnecessarily bright headlights.
Traffic officers are being overwhelmed by crashes and accidents every night.
IT’S GETTING RIDICULOUS
Newsishy spoke to Transport secretary Doris Thutston who said “It’s getting ridiculous, we have hundreds of people in hospital or dead simply because Greg and Sharon want headlights brighter than a supernova.
After extensive analysis and research we’ve proved that even though we know wearing sunglasses while driving at nighttime is stupid and will result in accidents it would actually reduce accidents at night overall by 83%.”
BLINDED ON A COUNTRY ROAD
In hospital we spoke to Pam Due who lost a leg and a spleen after being blinded on a country road and crashing into a herd of cows, she said “I couldn’t see a thing for a week, that was a month ago and I still see those fucking headlights every time I blink.
As soon as I’m driving again I’m getting some new lights from China and we’ll see how everyone else likes it.”
So it seems there’s a new arms race on the roads of the UK with no one willing to back down.
