It has been a question asked since the 90’s, not just in the art community but across the globe, who is Banksy?
After decades of speculation the renowned artist has finally come clean by posting on his official Instagram account. We believe the unusual move for the secretive artist may be a response to someone finding out his real identity and trying to blackmail him so his hand was forced.

The post showed his new work done last night on the wall outside Scotland Yard headquarters, a realistic 3D image of the Milky Bar Kid painting his now iconic Girl With Balloon as a clue to who he really is.
The Instagram post simply read “You got me! I had a good run.”
Unfortunately for Banksy fans the mystery is still not fully solved as there have been at least 8 Milky Bar Kids since the 60’s. Newsishy have narrowed that down to the 3 in the 80’s as that seems to be about the correct age for him going out in the 90’s when he first appeared on the scene.
